The mechanical load capacity of solar panels becomes particularly important in locations where snow or ice may build up on the surface of the panel. Our solar panels are tested to a pressure of 5400Pa with no interruption of the circuit flow.

 

THREE BYPASS DIODES

Bypass diodes are connected across one or more solar cell – if a cell becomes shaded the bypass cuts in to prevent individual cells from overheating (hot spots). It is too expensive to have one diode per cell so a diode usually protects a group of cells. Three bypass diodes provide exceptional protection.
